We definitely didn’t spend enough time in Berlin.  You really need more than 3 or 4 days. I dont think it is a beautiful city, beautiful is not the word for it. Everywhere you go, you can feel the wound of the past that will never disappear. But it is a courageous city, lively and full of opportunities with a constant growing in artistic ferment.

I enjoyed the Holocaust Memorial. Despite of the heaviness of the tombs, their painful symbolic, their cold grey,  you can hear the laughter of those who are playing hide and seek… which always happen when you are in this maze.
Not so far, the Brandenburg Gate dominates. Huge. Awful division and conflict symbol. Now there are tourists around, souvenirs shops and you can get a souvenir picture with some fake soldiers. Weird contrast.
Then the government area made with huge building. Too bad, the two last pictures are blur. Never mind I still like them.
