The origin of the French baguette

There are several versions about the origin of the French “baguette” but this one is my favourite. By the way, the name of the Parisian metro station Montparnasse Bienvenüe comes from the name of Mr. Fulgence Bienvenüe.

I hope you enjoyed this story and that you have learned something. Let me know if you would like to know more about any other French symbols!

What’s your plan to celebrate Bastille Day? Well, I’m going to a French restaurant of course!
